Christy is a Creative Arts Therapist. In practice she works with her patients using an Adlerian Art Therapy approach. She uses encouragement to assist clients in identifying obstacles and creating affective strategies for working towards goals. Christy’s form of therapy is helpful for patients who are resistant to talk therapy or struggle to find the words to express themselves.
She received her Bachelor’s of Art in Psychology from Marquette University and then her Master’s degree in Art Therapy from Adler University. Christy has worked with patients of all ages specifically she works with children, adolescents, adults, elderly, and siblings of children with special health needs or developmental issues. Christy uses a gentle and focused approach while embracing your passion for art to help build the self confidence of all types of patients.
