Savannah is an Atlanta native who received her B.S. in Psychology from Georgia Southern University followed by her M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Georgia State University. Savannah is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) as well as a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). Savannah has extensive experience with mental health crisis intervention, with working on an inpatient psychiatric unit, with psycho-social assessments and with helping individuals as well as their families navigate the resources available to them within our community.
Savannah’s goal as a therapist is to create a space for individuals to explore who they are and who they would like to become. She uses an existential framework to help individuals create a lifestyle that is meaningful to them based on their personal values and passions. Savannah believes in the alignment of mind, body and spirit in order for individuals to become their most authentic selves. She uses cognitive reframing, person-centered approaches and holistic techniques in order to help her clients gain insight into their current stressors which she believes is the first step towards personal growth.
