About Me

Jarius is a Master’s Level Counselor seeking full licensure in the spring of 2023. He has earned his B.S. in Criminal Justice and his M.A. in, Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He has worked in the correctional and probation sectors for over 7 years, addressing different issues from all walks of life which has equipped him with being able to maneuver and thrive within the mental health profession. Jarius has years of a wide range of clinical experiences providing services in inpatient and outpatient therapeutic settings, conducting adult and juvenile evaluations and assessments in addition to biopsychosocials and psychosexuals. Jarius has experience working with juveniles and adults with mental health and substance abuse issues.

Jarius uses a holistic therapeutic approach with the overall goal in mind to help individuals develop a deeper understanding of themselves regarding their spiritual, physical, mental and emotional well-being, coupled with approaches ranging from Reality Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy.
